Our 7th Anniversary : I’m collared & named!
As those of you who have followed this blog and also my twitter account @DT_BRI may have noticed, I’ve changed my details to Pup Zalo. My journey of me being a pup only started a year ago with a playful session with @pupparker when he was at Folsom, but its something that I’ve associated with more and more on the kink side in both of my switch roles as a pup and when I am in the mood, as a handler. When playing in kink, I prefer a more teasing, playful and sexual approach to leather and rubber, so the pup head-space really fits with my sexual personality. Although my search for a pup of my own, so I am also a full time handler, still continues I’ve been working up to playing in pup head-space for more and more time this year, and at Folsom it ended up with me spending the day as a pup to my Sir.
On the morning of our 7th Anniversary on October 13th, I awoke to the lovely present of a locked collar and chain from my hubby and Sir, along with the new name.
I love it, I didn’t expect it, and the name Zalo is derived from the latin name for a sealion “Zalophus Californianus “. When I was in San Francisco, we went to Pier 39 where there were a family of sealions (around 60 or so of them) all living on the jetty. I was mesmerised by them, not only because they were beautiful to look at, but because of their interactions between themselves in larger crowds. The younger “pups” were all extremely playful and very adept at wrestling with each other and so kind and loving at the same time. I commented at the time that this was the type of pup play I most associated with, as puppies in the form of canine pups always seem a little but more independent of each other, and less rubber like too!
I’m proud of my name, and I look forward to pupping out in both leather and rubber soon. I’ve not really had a chance to be pupped out and in pup head space since Folsom, so six weeks on and I’m desperate for a good pup session in my Zalo headspace. Having recently sat through the pup-play course at Bristol Leather Weekend (review coming soon) I do feel day by day more pup like in the things I do and the interactions that I have with people too. *licks* to you all 😉
